Thank you for sharing your magnificent collection with us! I didn't know that other people also had the same affinity for beer glasses that I do. I have a fairly large collection for an individual, but your collection has spurred an interest in growing that collection. Thanks again!

Great site, I lived in Germany for nine years the last three of which were in between the Bremen and Bremerhaven area. I got my father a set of six of the Haake-Beck Pils tulip beer glass, beer goblets (which are listed as #'s 216-221 on this site). The only difference is that the set I got my father, has the gold rim on the top of the glasses. He came for a visit and brought them to me last week and told me to keep them, so they don't lost or broken. He has had them since his birthday 1986, and still keeps them in the original styrofoam container. I've only seen him drink out of them a hand full of times. Thanks for letting me share.

Hi,
the Dressler Brewery doesn't exist anymore. It was closed down already in 1979, but the brand lived on until at least the nineties. Dressler beer had been brewed at the Holsten breweries.

Erwhnt man im Freundeskreis oder beim Sport seine Vorliebe fr Hemelinger, wird man gleich verbal wie ein Ausstziger behandelt. Dabei schmeckt es prima, ist gnstig und ist aus der Heimat.
